Iris in Paris in Vogue
American fashion icon Iris Apfel is visiting Paris at age 94 for Fashion Week.
Invited to the department store Le Bon Marché, she lists her favorite objects. The Luc Kieffer Paris bracelets, objects of a prestigious collaboration Luc Kieffer x Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche x Iris Apfel, feature very prominently!
Here's how she talks about it:
"Bracelets made by Luc Kieffer. Three borrow their gentle undulations from calm water. They are red, black and grey. The fourth, black, is decorated with an inclusion of silver barbed wire. Modeler, colourist, Luc Kieffer after having worked for major fashion houses launched his own collection at the turn of the 2000s. His style stands out through the strong presence, the sensuality of the shapes and the chromatic richness of his creations."
Vogue magazine echoes this collaboration between Iris Apfel and Luc Kieffer.
Luc and Iris met during this memorable stay!
This “Iris in Paris” visit is undoubtedly one of the highlights of Fashion Week 2016!
