Luc Kieffer X Le Mans is committed to the historic partnership between the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque
Driven by its values of solidarity and commitment, the Luc Kieffer X Le Mans brand is launching an operation throughout the month of March alongside the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association, itself a historic partner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
A solidarity race
For over 10 years now, the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been working with Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, carrying out numerous actions and donations for the benefit of children with heart defects. This historic partnership has enabled more than 80 children to be operated on.
This year again, a Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque sales and entertainment stand will be present on the circuit during the race. Visitors will be able to discover the LIGIER JS P3 car , customized in the association’s colors.
Luc Kieffer X Le Mans joins this cause
Since this Wednesday, March 9, Luc Kieffer X Le Mans has implemented an operation consisting of donating 10% of each sale made to Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. It was only natural that the designer wanted to contribute his stone to the building, for a cause that is particularly close to his heart.
This commitment is all the more important in this period of calm in the Covid-19 epidemic, because during the last two years, the association has suffered a significant slowdown in its activity, with trips forced to be cancelled.
"We must understand that for two years, the activity of this wonderful association has slowed down considerably. We must now look ahead and help to raise the profile of this great cause." Luc Kieffer.
About Cardiac Surgery Patronage
Created in 1996 by Professor Francine Leca, Cardiac Surgery Patronage allows children with heart defects to come and have surgery in France when they cannot be treated in their country of origin due to a lack of financial and technical resources.
The children are housed by volunteer host families and operated on in 9 hospitals throughout France. Nearly 4,000 children have already been treated since the creation of the Association.
